• 40 farmers trained in Garden Maintenance

• 20 Youth formed their program

• 15 women started savings group and are excited about joining the mushroom cooperative

 

The farmers we so excited about their training and very eager to learn. Many questions about agriculture/ farming were asked and all answered perfectly by Edward and BOON team. Many of the village gardens did have evidence of pests and diseases and require urgent attention. This has been an overall complaint by all farmers in the villages that we have trained.

 

Farmers in Nawasonga are interested to grow cacao and would like to learn more about growing it and how to access seeds.
